| Tightly Packed Bales |
It is equipped with various pressure-retaining devices, which allow for tightly packed bale with uniform center core. Wide belts and Vermeer's unique equipments such as cutout drive shaft, pickup rubber tines, and hay saver wheels will enable the machine to handle the material gently, reduce the losses, and produce densely packed bales. |
| XL's Options |
Vermeer features wide range of standard and optional equipments. As for optional equipments, please look at the specifications. |
| Strong Bottom Drum |
Bottom Drum design creates a horizontal feeding action; ideal for effective operations in all types of crops and conditions. Creates an additional packing point for greater bale density, tighter bales. Allows both the drum and bale to work together as a pinch point to pull in more hay and handle higher drive speeds.

| Smooth, Wide Belts. Compare! |
Excellent belt-to-bale contact. Smooth finish means less wear, better leaf retention in legumes. Vermeer's belt is characterized by less noise and durability. Vertical bale chamber rotates the roll on its axle, keeping ideal weight balance of round baler. Even though the rotating force is strong, there is little overload on the belt, which eliminates the problem of grasses loss. Twist design reduces hay buildup; creates better visibility into the chamber.
Compared to Vermeer's smooth belt, rugged traction belt inevitably receives more overloads and get worn earlier. No need for expensive and abrasive belts that are required to turn and carry more of the bale weight.

| Spiral Starter Roller and Knife Combo. |
It helps eliminate wrapping problems when harvesting stringy or dense material. Ideal for high moisture conditions. |
| Grease System of Double Twine Tie-arms |
Greasing the main pivot of twine tie-arms using grease nipple will ensure effective and long-life operation. |
| Yellow Zinc Plated Hardware |
It is more than twice corrosion-protected than no zinc plated parts. Proven in independent salt spray studies. |
| Best Hay Saver Wheels in the Industry |
Long fingers create positive "raking action;" more flex, less bounce in rugged terrain. Helps "pack the corners" for consistent bale density end to end. |
By introducing big sprocket, drive roller has become more powerful and more durable.
By introducing reinforced belt-tight arm, belt's deviation has been greatly reduced. Also, bale chamber frame is reinforced. |
| High Flotation Tires |
More stability, smoother handling. 31x13.5-15, 6-ply on all XL Series models |
