| Maize baler > ORKEL AS > Static Maize Baler |
Orkel's static maize baler MP2000 is a revolutionary machine, developed as a baler for short fiber products. This high output machine is an integration of a feed bunker with elevator, a baler unit, and a wrapper. It can meet the needs of farmers with big fields as well as the contractors.
What is remarkable about MP2000 is that it can produce high-density bales of crimped grain, ensiled maize, mixed forage, and some industrial products as sawdust and brewers grain. All these are what one has never thought as baling materials.
Introducing MP2000 will contribute to the shortening of chain of distribution.

| Banker and Elevator |
The bunker has a capacity of around 6 m3 of loose materials. The bunker also can be taken off so that material is directly thrown to the conveyor. It is possible to fill either with using a loader or trough a conveyor belt. A sensor regulates the flow of the material up to the feed elevator.
|
| Smooth Bale Movement |
Bale's shape is maintained with high density by roller and two belts in the chamber, using high-grade net and smooth bale handling. The losses resulting from the sides are minimal until it is wrapped with 6 layers of plastic. Any losses during the baling process are gathered under the baler and returned to the feed elevator.
BUS monitor allows for easy control of the machine. Parameters such as chamber pressure (bale density), amount of net, and wrap revolutions, etc. are adjusted using the touch screen of the monitor.
A pto powered hydrostatic pump is used to power the bale chamber. The fixed bale chamber uses 50mm shafts located in greasable bushes that uses automatic greasing system. Machine is always kept greased by this automatic system so it can operate without any damage even after having produced about 8000 bales.

|
| Automatic Function |
The machine works automatically. The BUS controls all functions. The operator only needs to ensure that there is enough material in the banker and that the finished bales are quickly transported away.
The baler is capable of producing 40 to 50 bales per hour. All function parameters can be adjusted to ensure optional output.
|
| Easy Transport and Rapid Set-up / Removal |
The baler has hydraulic brakes and a sprung axle, which allows for quick and safe road transport. The bunker folds over onto the elevator making it very compact. Also the baler is supported on four jacks during work. These hydraulic jacks allow the baler to be leveled even on uneven surface of the ground.
The MP2000 can be set up or removed from its work position within a short time. This affords flexibility of baling for customers with only small tonnages.
|
| Driving System |
The stationary MP2000 is PTO driven using a ca. 120HP tractor. PTO drives a hydrostatic pump, which supplies all functions of the machine with oil.
