In Kita Nihon Farm, "reception pit" is the first place where manure is gathered from the barn. From "reception pit", manure is sent to the fermentor where it will be anaerobicaly fermented.
Biogas, generated during anaerobic fermentation, is sent into "gas bag", where it will be desulfurised through biological method, and subsequently sent to CHPS (electricity generator). Electricity and heated water produced here are effectively utilized in the farm and field. Meanwhile digested liquid stored in the tank is transported and spread to the field as fertilizer.
