Company History


April 1861The predecessor, Aspinall-Cornes & Company was established
April 1873Mr. Aspinall left the partnership and the company changed its name to Cornes & Company.
February 1968Nisshin Nougyoukikai was established in Nakashibetsu.
August 1972The trade name changed to Nisshin Noki.
April 1993Merged with NICHIBOKU K.K and changed its name to Cornes AG.
Then the head office moved to Sapporo, Hokkaido.
April 1995The head office relocated to Eniwa Hokkaido
January 2001Under a joint industry-university cooperation project, in collaboration with Rakuno Gakuen University,Cornes Eco-Farm was established.
April 2008The environment and energy division of Cornes AG was integrated with the ecology division of Cornes & Company and was re-established as Cornes Biogas, subsidiary Cornes & Company.
December 2018All stocks are transferred from cornes and company limited to Orix Corp.
